Mimó Day V

On May 9, 2026, the Watermelon Crew brought the fifth edition of MIMÓ DAY to Barcelona's iconic Mimó Trashpark, bringing together local riders and visitors from across the aggressive inline scene.

MIMÓ DAY is more than a skating competition. The event was organised to raise funds for the continued maintenance and development of the Mimó Trashpark, a DIY skatepark built by and for the skating community.

The day featured a packed programme of skating, including The List Amateur Competition, Static Tricks, Trivial Roller and the MimoClash competitions. Riders from Barcelona and beyond came together for a mix of organised contests and open sessions, with the Trashpark providing the setting for a full day of skating and hanging out.

The event also brought together riders from different parts of Spain and international visitors, adding to the atmosphere that has made MIMÓ DAY one of the recurring gatherings of Barcelona's aggressive inline community.

MIMÓ DAY V was originally planned as a one-day event, but rain arrived shortly after the girls' competition. The boys' competition was therefore moved to the following day, turning the event into an unexpected weekend of skating.

The event was supported by a wide range of sponsors and local businesses, helping the Watermelon Crew continue their work around the Mimó Trashpark.
